My Bio

William is currently producing at least one new piece of music each month and posting them on his website, WilliamBellamy.com, and YouTube channel. William has also recently setup a page on Patreon.com that allows people to easily support his work.

Rather than be overly influenced by the latest trend, William allows his favorite genres, Rock, Classical, Jazz and Blues, to percolate and produce music that is unusual, interesting and inviting.

William's music catches your imagination, explores beyond the limits of style, and is guided by spontaneity that has a purpose. While his influences have large, complex, and multifaceted sounds, William's music is often soft and expansive, intricate and flowing, driving and purposeful.

While anchored in the traditions and artists who have influenced him, William's style continues to evolve rather than remain stuck in some well worn and comfortable path.

William has been influenced by a wide range of composers and performers. From the classical world; Eric Satie, Debussy, Leonard Bernstein, and Igor Stravinsky. From the modern world; Rush, "Emerson, Lake, and Palmer", Yes, Joe Bonamassa, Tim Conway, and Monty Python (William insisted the last two be included).

William began playing guitar when he was 8 years old. Though his teen years William took up piano and was very involved with writing and performing music at Ramona High School in Riverside California.

After moving to Kentucky in the 80's, William focused his attention on his family and career. But now with the family raised and retirement approaching, William has returned to his first passion, music.
